Investigation graph

Lookups recorded as a branching graph that can be flagged, annotated and exported.

Each lookup is recorded at the top of the page as a node in a graph. Pivots branch, so the structure reflects the shape of the investigation rather than a flat history.

Select a node to reopen it. Blue marks the active path; grey marks abandoned branches.
Flag nodes that proved significant.
Annotate a node with context it does not carry itself. Notes save as you type.
Branch to open a separate line of enquiry without discarding the current one.
Export the graph as JSON for a case file or report.
